How cool can today get?! I ot up in the morning, and had a fantastic breakfast, and then I went to pick up my Honda. They'd done my baby up so beautifully! They'd changed her brake discs, given her oil for the drums, and had stiffened the clutch and the steering shaft, making her as sexy as new. I never want that car sold. It still (out)performs everybody's expectations, and dad wants to sell it. Must dissuade him.
Then, in the evening, I got a letter from U.W.C. inviting me for an interview in Pune on the 16th of April!! Hallelujah!! What fun thihs is going to be! I've already made plans to drive down from Mumbai with Hrishikesh in the Opel or the Indigo. This is just so exciting!!
And finally, to top it off, I got PASSES to seee (AND MAYBE MEET!!!!!!!!) the God of Rock Himself - Mr. Mark Knopfler!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
The coolest part is that in the middle of all this I've got exams, and I don't seem to care... I seem sufficiently well prepared, so... HONDA!!!!! MARK KNOPFLER!!!!!! UNITED WORLD COLLEGES!!!!!! HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

actually....i thot abt it and i dont want to be ur guide on the day of the interviews...cos then i probably wont get to spend time with u. I mean...there will be more people in ur group and its a good idea that i pay attention to all of them if im an official guide. Ill probably just hang around and talk to u when theres someone else with the rest of the group. But yeah...u can come and see my room as well...believe me its far more interesting than arjuns...
and oh yeah...MUWCI rocks...its the only UWC that is semi close to the ideals it upholds...i mean they actually still believe in giving freedom in this one...all the others are far more anal... and plus, if ur the type, opportunities for community service are far better in MUWCI...and yeah...our college has the best social life of all the UWCs...u might think thats frivolous but actually (atleast in my opnion) u learn a lot in a place like this through socialising cos u meet a whole bunch of highly interesting people.
So...thats about it...thats my opinion...see you in April...

Traits, huh... well, we'll just have to see about that... ya duh I'm trying to get to MUWCI... guess what tho, bout the Knopfler concert - I got there so late (curse the bloody traffic) that all chances of meeting the Great Man Himself had gone. The concert started 5 minutes after I came... but everything - I repeat, everything - was free. Food, drinks, chocolates(and darned good ones at that!!)... everythin g! And the place i was in(the lounge) was elevated, so I could see evrything. The people waere actually well mannered, were not sweaty, and did not smoke into your face(as someone might recall at the Rolling Stones concert - what say, himanshu? ;-) )...
about the bitch joke - very funny arjun. We shall wait and see who'll be whose bitch...

well as you did mention what if you dont make it to uwc will you end up being crucified in our college itself...hope that doesn't happen and atleast one of our college mates escape from this prison of the new century.

none of you know me, but that's ok. i hope.
im trying to apply to UWC colleges and have gone to UWCSEA when from 1st grade till 4th grade (that's the one in singapore which has elementary)
and now i want to go to MUWCI really badly
and i've sent like one email to the person's name who i found on the muwci website asking when application forms will begin to be issued and so far no reply.
and yea i've been surfing the net trying to find people who can help and i came across this. so i hope you dont mind wasting all this time. but could someone please reply telling me how it goes?
